Bodyweight

I can say with 95% certainty that the collagen has been introduced to me…too late to have a noticeable effect on my loose skin. Let that be a lesson. Don’t let yourself get morbidly obese! My ‘love handles’ have disappeared regardless, seemingly overnight. Oh well. The body does as the body does. Meanwhile, I have turned to a routine of bodyweight training, which has been fantastic. It is simple, but difficulty increases exponentially as I have progressed. I guess my end goal, my secret fitness motivation (since I’m never gonna have abs with all this skin, brah) is to have that ambulatory ability that I never had as a kid, climbing monkey bars and shit. So to that end, things have been fantastic. My grip strength is up, I can hang for longer, and it was done wonders to even out my physique on my non-dominant arm. I have a routine of stretching nightly and my hamstrings are finally starting to give way. I can touch my toes a little bit! 10 second L sits are now moderately easy. It is very exciting, but it is still only the beginning. I have a long way to go in my fitness journey, now is not the time to become complacent.
